Dr. Wael Alzarif is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical and surgical experience across Syria and the United Arab Emirates. His practice focuses on orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, implant rehabilitation, bone augmentation, facial trauma, and advanced oral surgical procedures.

He served for more than 13 years as Chief of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the National Hospital of Hama, supervising multidisciplinary teams of surgeons, residents, and nursing staff — combining surgical practice with academic leadership and departmental management.

Dr. Alzarif is also an internationally approved Operation Smile cleft surgeon, taking part in humanitarian surgical missions dedicated to restoring smiles and improving quality of life for cleft patients.
